John Tardy vocals Obituary

John Tardy (born March 15, 1968) is an American vocalist who is best known for his work with the death metal bands Obituary and Tardy Brothers. He is the brother of Donald Tardy who is the drummer of Obituary.

David Scott "Dave" Mustaine vocals megadeth

David Scott "Dave" Mustaine (born September 13, 1961, La Mesa, California) is the founder, main songwriter, guitarist, and lead vocalist for the American heavy metal band Megadeth. Prior to Megadeth, Mustaine was the first lead guitarist and a co-songwriter of Metallica until he was fired from the band in 1983. In 2009, he was ranked No. 1 in Joel McIver's book The 100 Greatest Metal Guitarists. Mustaine was also ranked eighty-ninth by Hit Parader on their list of the 100 Greatest Metal Vocalists of All Time. He is also the manager for the Canadian band Baptized in Blood.

Megadeth

Subsequent to his firing, in 1983, Mustaine met bass player Dave Ellefson. He then enlisted guitarist Greg Handevidt and drummer Dijon Carruthers. After a series of unsuccessful vocalist auditions, Mustaine elected to take on vocal duties himself in addition to playing lead guitar. In 1984, Megadeth cut a three-song demo with drummer Lee Raush. Kerry King joined the band for a few shows; however, he opted to leave Megadeth after less than a week so he could continue working on his own band, Slayer. Jazz-influenced drummer Gar Samuelson replaced Raush. Megadeth recorded a demo as a three-piece band which captured the attention of guitarist Chris Poland, also a jazz player and a friend of Samuelson, who subsequently joined the band.[8] In November, the band signed a deal with Combat Records and began touring.

In May 1985, Megadeth released their first album, Killing Is My Business... and Business Is Good!, on Combat Records. That summer, the band toured the U.S. and Canada with Exciter. Guitarist Mike Albert replaced Chris Poland for a while because Poland was charged for possession of heroin. After Poland was released, he rejoined the band in October and the band then began recording their second studio album for Combat. On New Year's Eve of that year, Megadeth played in San Francisco with Exodus, and Metal Church. Metallica was on the card but didn't attend due to various reasons.

In 1986, after recording Killing Is My Business..., Mustaine approached Jackson Guitars for a custom-built guitar. Jackson modified their existing Jackson King V model for Mustaine by adding 2 more frets to the standard 22 fret King V. In the 1990s the company began mass-producing a Dave Mustaine signature series Jackson King V which continued into the early 2000s.

The following year, major label Capitol Records signed Megadeth and obtained the rights to their second album, Peace Sells... But Who's Buying?, from Combat. Megadeth opened a U.S. tour with King Diamond and Motörhead. This album, released in November, is regarded as a landmark metal album. It produced the notable title track (the opening bass lick of which was used by "MTV News" segments) as well as the thrash anthem "Wake Up Dead." The videos for both songs became staples on MTV's Headbanger's Ball.

In February 1987, Megadeth opened for Alice Cooper on his Constrictor tour. The band also toured with King Diamond whose previous band, Mercyful Fate, were a huge influence on Megadeth. In March, Megadeth's first world tour began in the U.K. Mustaine and Ellefson guested on the band Malice's License To Kill album. Megadeth re-recorded "These Boots" for a movie soundtrack, and that summer went on tour with Overkill and Necros. Amid drug problems and suspicions of stealing the band's equipment and pawning it for drug money, Mustaine fired Poland and Samuelson after their last show in Hawaii.

Chuck Behler, who had been Samuelson's drum tech, became Megadeth's new drummer with a guitarist named Jeff Young replacing Poland. Megadeth released their third album, So Far, So Good... So What!, in January 1988. The album contains the song "In My Darkest Hour", which, according to the liner notes of So Far, So Good... So What!, was composed after the death of Metallica's bass player Cliff Burton, despite the lyrics having nothing to do with Burton. "Hook in Mouth" attacked the Parents Music Resource Center with gusto, although their cover of the Sex Pistols' "Anarchy in the UK", despite a guest appearance from ex-Pistol Steve Jones, was ill-advised in the eyes of Allmusic's critic.

Later that year, Megadeth opened for Dio and then Iron Maiden on tour before playing the Monsters of Rock festival at Castle Donington in the U.K. with Kiss, Iron Maiden, Guns N' Roses, David Lee Roth, and Helloween. Shortly after, Mustaine fired Behler and Young, accusing Young of having thoughts of a relationship with Mustaine's then-girlfriend. Around this period, Mustaine produced the debut album from Seattle thrash band Sanctuary, called Refuge Denied.

Nick Menza, who was Chuck Behler's drum tech, joined Megadeth in 1989, and the band recorded their only track ever as a three-piece: a cover of Alice Cooper's "No More Mr. Nice Guy" for the Wes Craven-directed horror flick, Shocker. Video director Penelope Spheeris would later recount in the Megadeth episode of Behind The Music that Mustaine showed up to the video shoot so fried on heroin and other drugs that he could not sing and play guitar at the same time; therefore, the singing and playing had to be recorded separately. Mustaine was arrested for "impaired driving" that March with seven or more drugs in his system and was forced by authorities to enter a rehabilitation program (the first of his 15 visits to rehabilitation centeres)

Ted Harris Poley vocals Danger Danger

vocals collection,Ted Harris Poley (born January 5, 1964 in Englewood, New Jersey) is a rock singer and drummer most famous for being in the band Danger Danger.
Ted Poley

He then joined New Jersey progressive rock band Prophet as a drummer. They released their first album in 1985. Poley also sang lead vocals on some of their songs. In 1987, while working with the band's second album, he was approached by Bruno Ravel and Steve West to join Danger Danger and he accepted.

With Danger Danger, Poley enjoyed much success as the band caught the late surge wave of 80s hair metal. Together they released two albums (Danger Danger and Screw It!) and toured with bands like KISS, Alice Cooper, and others.

In 1993, he finished recording Danger Danger's third album, Cockroach, but was surprisingly fired from the band. They hired another singer (Paul Laine) and attempted to release the album with new vocals, but Poley sued and prevented the album from being released.

The same year, he formed a new band called Bone Machine with guitarist John Allen III (Tommy Lee's band.) In 1994, they released their first album titled Dogs. In 1995, they toured the UK and released a live record titled Search and Destroy. In 1996, they released their last album titled Disappearing, Inc. The album is noted for featuring an eerie premonition of what would happen in the 2001 9/11 attacks in the cover art.

In 2000, he joined the band Melodica with Gerhard Pichler on guitar. As a band, they released several albums: USAcoustica, and Lovemetal among them. During this time, Poley returned to U.S. and played for the first time in seven years.

In 2001, Danger Danger finally released the album Cockroach after reaching an agreement with Epic Records. The album featured two discs: one with the Poley vocals, and the other with the new vocals by the band's new singer, Paul Laine.

In 2002, Poley's band (now known as Poley/Pichler) released an album titled Big. This album featured Joe Slattery on bass guitar, with whom Poley had played before in Lush back in the early 80s.

In 2004, he rejoined Danger Danger and started touring with them again.

Dave Evans vocals AC/DC

vocals collection,Dave Evans (born 20 July 1953) is an Australian singer best known as the original lead singer of the Australian hard rock band AC/DC from 1973-1974.Dave Evans is so much a stereotypical Aussie you almost expect a stripe of sun block down his nose, a four pack of Foster’s lying on the amp and corks hanging from his straw hat.
And the music is straight out of the roughest, toughest, mean and dirty bars Down Under. It’s blunt and, at the same time, brilliant. It’s no-nonsense and yet it makes perfect sense to anyone who’s been through life’s ups and downs.
As a performer Evans, the first man to front AC/DC, mixes aggression with humour and showmanship with sincerity. This set might have been played out in front of only a handful of Newcastle’s die hard rockers but they were treated to a sensational night of hard rocking action.
On his first headline tour of the UK Evans was under no pressure to dip into an extensive back catalogue and chose to concentrate on current release Judgement Day. That was the first smart move of the night.
An album packed with singalong anthems featuring a slew of hummable riffs, it might have been nearly 40 years in the making but it surely represents the pinnacle of Evans’ long and celebrated career.
Opening up with We Don’t Dance To Your Song, the ‘fuck you’ attitude was evident from the start. Band Molls and Another Boy On The Street are cracking songs deserving of a much bigger stage.
But the pick of the bunch has to be Ain’t Gonna Do You To Me Anymore. Featuring a riff that inspires grown men to wiggle their hips and tap their thighs, it’s one of the best tunes we’ve heard all year.
AC/DC fans were treated to a rarely heard rendition of the band’s first single, Can I Sit Next To You Girl, and an even more obscure early B-side in the shape of Rockin’ In The Parlour. Evans, backed by Fury UK’s Chris Appleton on lead guitar, was in his element and it was clear just why the Young brothers almost stuck with the big man ahead of Bon Scott.
Refusing to play any Brian Johnson-era AC/DC in the home town of the man himself – Evans told the crowd ‘ Brian can do it himself and he does it well’ – the man behind the mic did pay tribute to his successor with a sparkling version of Whole Lotta Rosie and it brought the house down.
Aussie rock still takes some beating in a basement bar on a balmy summer night. And Evans is the godfather of a much-loved genre.

Steven Tyler Aerosmith vocals

vocals collection,Steven Tyler (born Steven Victor Tallarico; March 26, 1948) is an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, and the frontman and lead singer of the Boston-based rock band Aerosmith, in which he also plays the harmonica, and occasional piano and percussion. He is also known as the "Demon of Screamin'" and is equally known for his on-stage acrobatics. During his high-energy performances, he usually dresses in bright, colorful outfits with his trademark scarves hanging from his microphone stand. In the 1970s, Tyler rose to prominence as the frontman of Aerosmith, which released such milestone hard rock albums as Toys in the Attic and Rocks. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Tyler had a heavy drug and alcohol addiction, and the band's popularity waned.
